Generative APIs run exclusively in fr-par (Paris). Managed Inference supports fr-par (Paris), nl-ams (Amsterdam), and pl-waw (Warsaw). No data leaves the EU. Datacentres: DC2/DC3/DC5 (Paris), AMS1/AMS2 (Amsterdam), WAW1/WAW2 (Warsaw).
Prompts and completions not stored beyond request handling per explicit data privacy documentation. Account and billing data retained for contract duration plus legal archiving period.
Dedicated data privacy page at /docs/generative-apis/reference-content/data-privacy/ explicitly states no training on customer data.
Certifications & EU AI Act
Infrastructure provider and deployer of third-party open-weight models. No published EU AI Act compliance statement specific to Generative APIs. As deployer, primary obligations fall on model developers.
Verification
Scaleway (Iliad Group) is 100% French-owned. France is an EU member state — adequacyDecision is true in that no cross-border GDPR transfer concern exists for EU customers. HDS certification (French health data hosting) is a differentiator for healthcare use cases. ISO 27001 covers datacentres and cloud platform.
